The Chairman and Members of the Committee look forward to welcoming all members at our Annual General Meeting which will be held at 8:00pm on Thursday 17th June 2010 at the Scout HQ, Ashton Road, Marsh Barton, Exeter.  Only Puppy, Advanced Puppy and Beginner Classes will take place on this date.

Exeter Dog Training Club is run by members for members, so please show your support by attending the meeting.  This is your opportunity to have a say on how the Club is run.  We would particularly encourage newer members will take an active interest by bringing new ideas to the Club.

 

Part of the business of the AGM is the election of Officers and Members of the Committee.  The Officers automatically resign each year but may stand for re-election. Nominations may be made at the AGM but it would be appreciated if they could if possible be notified to the Secretary in advance. If you feel that you can offer something and would like to stand for the Committee please give your name to our Secretary. Members offering themselves for election must be proposed and seconded.  They should be prepared to attend Club on a regular basis and willing to assist with the running of the Club.

 

If you have not received notification of the AGM please contact us.  To help give us an idea of the numbers attending and to minimise costs please return the attendance slip by Thursday 10th June 2010.  Items for discussion at the AGM must be submitted to the Secretary in writing by Wednesday 9th June for inclusion in the Agenda. Items not received by that date cannot be brought up on the Agenda or discussed. Copies of the agendas will be sent to those attending and posted here.
