Barbecue & Fun Night
This year's "end of term" BBQ and Fun Night before our summer break will be held on Thursday 28th July from 7pm.
All members, their families and friends are invited to join us for the evening to celebrate summer and to participate in some fun and obedience classes.
£5 per ticket (£2.50 for children), includes BBQ and entry to as many classes as you like.
Fun Classes (Judge: Brenda Jones):
Best conditioned dog
Most unalike pair of dogs - Best trick
- Happiest dog
- Most alike pair (handler and dog)
- Dog the judge would like to take home
Obedience Classes (Judge: Paul Cousins):
Beginners - For dogs not having yet achieved their Silver Good Citizens.
Heel on lead, Recall (someone holding dog), 30sec stay on lead.
Improvers - For dogs not having yet achieved Gold Good Citizens
Heel on lead. Retrieve any object; no finish. Recall with finish, Sit stay 30sec. Down stay 1 min, lead on ground.
Advanced - Open to all dogs unplaced at Open Shows.
Heel on lead. Rertrieve dumbell with finish. ‘A’ recall. Sit stay 1min, Down Stay 2 mins.
